From Safety to Sold: My Journey to Real Estate

Growing up in Sioux Falls, my childhood was filled with the sound of hammers, the smell of sawdust, and the steady guidance of my father. He was always working on a project—either for our home or lending a hand to a neighbor. I naturally followed in his footsteps, learning early on that building, fixing, and helping others weren’t just tasks, but a way of life.

That hands-on passion led me through countless real estate transactions over the years. Whether it was building, remodeling, answering “How do I?” questions, or helping someone find the right person for a job, I found deep satisfaction in making things better for others. Eventually, my path took a turn into the world of Safety and Risk—a different kind of passion, but one that felt just as important. My mission was simple: to make sure everyone went home safe at the end of the day.

Recently, my husband and I decided to sell our last property and find a new place to call home. That experience was nothing short of a rollercoaster. There were ups and downs, moments of uncertainty, and a flood of decisions to make. Through it all, our real estate agent became our lighthouse—guiding us with patience, determination, and a steady hand. After the dust settled, I realized I wanted to be that guiding light for others, too.

With my background in construction, safety, and risk management, I know I have a unique perspective and a lot to offer. I’m determined to bring my best to every client, every day—helping them navigate the twists and turns of buying or selling a home with confidence and care.

If you’re looking for someone who understands the nuts and bolts, who values your safety and your dreams, and who will be by your side every step of the way—I’d love to help. Let’s build something great together.
